The Hero's Journey
$75.00
This piece was made for and inspired by my brother, Brion.
The Hero’s Journey is described as when a hero goes on a quest or adventure to achieve a goal, and has to overcome obstacles and fears, before ultimately returning home transformed.
After my brother was diagnosed with brain cancer, he traveled to Nepal for 2 months, where he received his certification in yoga training and sound bowl therapy. When he returned home, he spoke of how transformational it was and that he finally understood his purpose in life.
I showed him this drawing just before he passed and it's where I see him now, peaceful, happy and floating amongst the stars in the place he discovered his purpose, to heal others through music—a purpose I now carry for him in my vision for PAM! to cultivate vibrant communities where People!Art!Music! flourish.
A portion of every sale is donated to the fight against brain cancer.
